The Montauk Catering Company has experience preparing a diverse range of food stylings, from the traditional to the highly creative. Our motto is: locally influenced, globally inspired. We love working with the bounty of the land & sea that is a cornerstone of the Long Island lifestyle. They may even offer suggestions from their own catalog of cuisine. But the final decision on any food styling is always yours. What really sets us apart from other catering options is that we don’t cook all your food days before & just warm it up on-site! We believe that the food you eat at your special event should be as fresh, delicious and creative as what you’ve come to expect from the great restaurants in our area. That’s why our pop-up restaurant approach to catering is the purest & tastiest option for your next social gathering. From Dim Sum to Moroccan Tagines (maybe one more cool and different option here), and everything in between, the Chefs at The Montauk Catering Company are dedicated to delivering a personalized event experience from Montauk to New York City.

10. What is a tasting?

Tastings are a way for the creators of a large event to sample the food, the style, and the quality of what The Montauk Catering Company has to offer. Traditionally, this is done by a Bride & Groom who are looking for the perfect cuisine that compliments their big day. But it may also be necessary for the producer of a large corporate event or product launch to sample our food stylings to meet certain requirements related to their occasion. If you are interested in arranging a tasting, please speak to one of our cuisine consultants at 631-353-3511.

11. How far in advance should I book a tasting?

As soon as you’ve picked the date and settled on a venue, give us a call at 631-353-3511. We’ll be happy to arrange a convenient time for you and your significant other to experience the The Montauk Catering Company cuisine.

12. Does The Montauk Catering Company have blackout dates?

Unfortunately, yes. While we aspire to accommodate everyone, the truth is the summer months on Long Island and the Hamptons tend to book up fast. Especially on the most popular weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day). Your best option is to contact The Montauk Catering Company as soon as you have a date in place, and we can put a hold on that day for you in our calendar. That way, you’ll get first refusal on that date should another client reach out to us after you. However, once you officially book a date, it’s locked in place on our schedule.

13. How do I schedule a tasting or hold the date?

As soon as you have an event date and venue in place, give us a call at 631-353-3511. One of our cuisine consultants will be happy to help schedule a tasting or arrange a hold on your event date.
